What we collect

When you request a quote or contact us, we collect the details you give us. This usually includes your name, phone number, email address (if you give it), suburb and postcode, whether the job is for a home or business, the services you are interested in, your answers to questions about the job, and any photos or power bills you send us. If you go ahead with a job, we also collect your address, details about your property and electricity setup, and anything needed for rebates, network connection or compliance paperwork.

How we use it

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, prepare quotes, carry out and support the work, apply for rebates and network connections on your behalf, meet our legal and licensing obligations, and keep our records. We do not sell your information, and we will not send you marketing without your permission.

Who we share it with

We only share your information when it is needed to do the job or required by law. This can include electricity network operators and retailers (such as Western Power, Synergy or Horizon Power), government rebate schemes and their administrators, equipment manufacturers for warranty purposes, and our accountants or insurers.

Quote requests submitted through this website are delivered to us by a third-party form service, Formspree, which may store and process data outside Australia, including in the United States.

This website

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this website, such as which pages are viewed and when a quote request is sent. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as your device, browser, approximate location and the pages you visit. Google may process this information outside Australia. You can opt out using Google’s browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser. We do not use advertising cookies.

To display our fonts, your browser loads them from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may keep standard server logs for security and performance.

Keeping it safe

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and we keep it only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or raise a privacy concern, by contacting us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
