Federal discount
Eligible batteries attract the federal Cheaper Home Batteries discount. We claim the STCs for you and take the discount off your quote.

Is a battery worth it?

For a lot of WA homes with solar, yes. Here’s why, and when it isn’t.

Store it, don’t sell it cheap

Most of your spare solar earns just 2c per kWh when exported. Store it instead, and every kWh you use at night saves you buying power at about 33c.

Backup when the power goes out

With the right setup, a battery keeps essentials like the fridge, lights and internet running during an outage.

Room to grow

Some batteries can be expanded later, so you can start with what you need now and add capacity if your usage grows, for example with an EV.

Your power bills are already low.
You don’t have solar and don’t plan to add it. The federal discount needs solar.
